This was his favorite card from Grandpa and the girls. He loves it and says I love you Grandpa Charlie, Tatum, Taylor and Randi. I Wish you could be here but I love you and miss you. I love you guys" It is so cute he sings that with the music of the card. It plays over and over and over. Thanks guys.
Next to his bike this was his favorite toy. He is so excited to have his own digital camera. Doesn't take great photos but he does. It holds 300 photos on the internal memory. Great for him. He won't stop snapping.
Austin got a new bike for his birthday from mom and dad. He was so excited to ride his NEW lightening McQueen bike all over the campsite.
He celebrated his birthday 3 times. He got to go camping, go to Red Robin and have a pool party. Don't think well be doing all that again. But it was fun.
Yummy cake from Costco. It is no fun to bake while you are camping. Not even sure I would want to try it out.
Austin took it upon himself to pee on a tree while camping. He was playing on the playground and didn't have time to hit the bathroom. When camping, do as animals do, right?
Mom, Cheryl and Joanna hit the local winery had a few too many samples and came back in a really good mood. Also came back with a few bottles of wine.
We had a good amount of people who came.
Cheryl, Joanna, Calie, Markella, Mike, Corie, Bjorn, Reider, Jayme, Payton, Nathan, Kaitlyn, mom, Ivy, and our family. We had so much fun camping. We got there on a Thursday. Everyone else showed up on Friday. Thank goodness for them. The first night the wind was so bad we all thought the tent was going to lift up and take flight with all 5 of us in it. It was crazy. I felt like Dorthy in Kansas. The next morning we went to Starbucks to get Coffee because none of us adults had gotten any sleep. Went to Wal-mart and bought super-size spikes for the tent. When we got back, we spiked the tent as much as we could and decided we needed a rereshing shower to get us through the rest of the day. When we got back I noticed the sprinklers were on. Not just on but on our tent. I ran into our tent and noticed that it was flooded. Not only flooded but the top was off due to the wind so all of the water had come in and soaked everything not touching the floor. So long story short we spent all day in the Eastern Washington sun and wind to dry things out before having to sleep in it again. We spent all of that time staking the tent and didn't have anymore wind. Everyone arrived and we had a blast the rest of the weekend.
