We went to the pool, Splash pad at Forest Park, played in the sprinklers and camped in the back yard. We even went to the beach a few times. Thank goodness for getting air conditioning. It has made things much smoother since the hot days started. We sat in the pool one day with umbrellas covering us it was so dang hot. Cousin Ivy came to visit from Sacramento. She was lying in bed one night and asked Grandma to please turn the AC on. We had to nicely explain to her that in WA we don't usually have AC. So that was when we broke down and bought one.
